The India-Philippines trade has more than trebled from US $ 338.5 million in Financial Year (FY) 2001-2002 to US $ 1061.84 million in FY 2009-2010. With the progressive reduction of tariff duties on imports and exports, the rate of growth of bilateral trade between India and the Philippines is expected to significantly accelerate boosted, undoubtedly, by the robustness of both the economies.
