        Secretary, Department of  Finance, Hon’ble Mr. Cesar V. Purisima visited India, at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, Finance Minister of India from 16-17 October, 2011 to participate in the Eminent Persons Forum in New Delhi organized by the Government of India.  The Forum was the central element of activities to mark the 25th anniversary of India’s engagement with Asian Development Bank.

2.     During his stay in India, he met his Indian counterpart to discuss bilateral issues of common interest.  The increasing interaction between the leaderships of the two countries is guiding the bilateral relations to a qualitatively higher level.
